Dr. Colleen Caswell
Dr. Colleen Caswell is the current Principal at Veazie Street Elementary School. She has spent her entire educational career working in the Providence Public School District (PPSD) and the past 26 years as a Principal.
Colleen earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Special Education from Rhode Island College in Providence, Rhode Island. She received her Master's degree in Special Education: Behavioral Disorders and in Multicultural Education from Rhode Island College, obtained her Administration Certificate through the Principal Residency Network, and obtained her Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.
Colleen's vision for Veazie Street Elementary School is to create a fair and nurturing school environment that is built on strong, collaborative relationships where all staff support the needs of our students and families.

Joseph Cappuccilli
Joseph Cappuccilli is the current Assistant Principal at Veazie Street Elementary School. He has worked his entire educational career in the Providence Public School District (PPSD). Out of the 26 years he's been working in education, the last 16 have been as an Assistant Principal.
Joseph earned his Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Rhode Island College in Providence, Rhode Island. He received his Master's in Administration from Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island.
Joseph's vision for Veazie Street Elementary School is to create meaningful relationships and help people grow, while staying committed, determined, and honest.
